New Delta alumni tradition

2 nights ago, a group of 10-15 alumni attended the A-league intramural football championship at OC and watched Delta win A-league football over Kappa. I was thinking what a great new tradition it would be to get the alumni out in force for A-league championships. If Delta gets to the A-league championship in any sport, we need to get out to support them. This means so much to the current guys in Delta but its also a great opportunity for the alumni to get together. Alumni in attendance were Al Branch, Jeff McMillon, Craig Davis, Joel Forhan, John Edmunson, Matt Dowell, Landon Cobb, Josh Sloan, Heath Wiederstein, Ted Norton, Brad Robison, Jimmy Arter, Rick Judd, Ron Taylor, and Curt Coffman. It was a great time and its great to see Delta having success on the intramural field.

Homecoming Alumni Breakfast.. November 4, 2006

This year's Homecoming Delta Alumni breakfast will be held in the home of Joel and Kristi Forhan. It will begin at 8am on Saturday, Nov. 4th.
Joel and Kristi live at 10000 Hidden Hollow Ln. in Oklahoma City. Here is a map if you are unfamiliar with this area.

The current men of Delta will be there with their new pledge class and are looking forward to meeting the alumni and hearing all of the old stories. There will also be many of our alumni there that are looking forward to seeing you to reconnect and/or make some new connections. Please make it a priority to be at this year's Delta Alumni Breakfast.

Also, for those of you that are golfers or like me, pretend to be golfers, there will be several Delta alumni playing in OC's Homecoming golf tourney on Friday, November 3rd at Coffee Creek Golf Course. It's a noon shotgun start with lunch starting at 11am. I saw several teams of Delta alumni last year including Mike Arnold, Jeff McMillon, Clint Vaughn, Dwain Crabtree and others. The defending 2nd place team of Adair the token indian, Mike "One Club" Osburn, Steve "4+3=3" Bivins, and Rick "The Ringer" Lawson will be present and accounted for. Think you can beat us? BRING IT!
