I don't have an explanation for the Royals hat. I heard the Yankees dropped the Columbus Clippers as their triple A affiliate. Jesse may have heard the rumor that the Royals would become the Yankees new Triple-A affiliate. I started that rumor!

Prayer request for one of our soldiers

this is from Brett Johnson, a Delta alum from Oklahoma City.

I just wanted to write a quick note and ask that you pass along a prayer request that I have. My younger brother, Kent Johnson, is leaving for Iraq today. His tour of duty is supposed to last for one year. He's in the 1st Infantry Division out of Ft. Riley, KS. He told me yesterday that his job will be a gunner on the vehicles that block the intersections so that the military convoys have a clear path to wherever it is they're going. I know most of the guys don't know him, but it would mean a lot to me to keep him and his family in their prayers. He's got a wife, Amber, and two kids, Jasmine and Hunter. I'm sure there are others who have family or know of someone else that is over there....please ask for prayers for all of them. Thanks, I appreciate it.

Funeral arrangements for Kenneth Alan Murray

I sent an email this morning that I hope you all received. Kenneth Murray is the father of Jim Murray. Mike Murray, Scott Murray, and Jennifer (Murray) Tempest. This was a sudden and unexpected loss and this family could use all of our prayers.

The funeral will be held Monday, September 11th at 10:00 am.
