A humble request from the good Reverend Dr. Ted Norton

Delta brother Ted Norton requests that all local Delta alums attend the Saturday, June 2nd concert at VZD's on Western Ave (location of many Steve Bivins sightings with Felt and Green Glass Door back in the day) where The Non and Umbrellas will be playing at 10:00pm. This is an over 21 show(Todd and Al, leave your boys at home) and Ted believes it would be a good time to have all the Delta alums meet there for a get-together. The Non is comprised of two OC students(good), one UCO student(OK), and one Bishop McGuinness HS student(what?), none of which are over 21.

Wil Norton is showing early signs of membership interest on Delta and a large turnout from his Dad's brothers would help solidify this. Oh by the way, Ted does not want to hear any whining(Weedie) like "10:00pm is too late" or anything like that. No wimps and no "I gotta get home to momma(Jimmy) before 11:00" need come to the concert.

Delta alum Mark Stansberry receives national award

1977 Delta alum Mark Stansberry recently received the 2007 Fund for American Studies Alumni Service award. Here is a link to the story. The Fund for American Studies formerly the Institute on Economic and Political Systems held at Georgetown University has been in place since 1967 to educate young leaders on the values of freedom, democracy, and free-market economies. This is a photo of Mark and his wife Nancy with former Presidential speechwriter Ben Stein. Mark is also on the OC Board of Trustees along with fellow Delta alumni Todd Dobson and Dewey Leggett, Delta dads Ray Vaughn, Lon Winton, and Richard Lawson and Delta wife Susie Jackson.

DQOTD: Does anyone else think that Mike Osburn will look like Ben Stein when he gets older?
